It’s time to journey again to Pandora.
13 years after the discharge of the primary Avatar movie, twentieth Century Studios launched the primary trailer for the long-awaited sequel Avatar: The Way of Water, which hits theaters on Dec. 16.
The James Cameron-created movie is “set more than a decade after the events of the first film” and “begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids),” in line with the movie’s description, “the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.”
The trailer opens with soothing music, underwater scenes and breathtaking landscapes that may transport you again into the world of Avatar.
“I know one thing,” Jake says to Neytiri within the trailer. “This family is our fortress.”
The movie returns with authentic forged members, together with Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, Sam Worthington as Jake Sully and Sigourney Weaver in a brand new position. Kate Winslet joins the forged as Ronal, together with Michelle Yeoh as Dr. Karina Mogue and Oona Chaplin as Varang.
