They’ve made it — the Derry Girls have been given a shoutout in a brand new episode of The Simpsons.
In a brand new episode of the long-lasting American sitcom, Homer takes the household’s canine Santa’s Little Helper to an ice-cream parlour in Springfield referred to as ‘Dairy Girls Ice Cream.’

The shopfront is a reference to Lisa McGee’s Derry Girls — confirmed by The Simpsons Executive Producer Matt Selman on Twitter on Sunday.
Responding to the shout-out, McGee tweeted ‘I. Am. Dead’ with Selman responding, ‘It’s the least we may do!’

On St Patrick’s Day, Channel 4 provided a glimpse on the third and remaining sequence of Derry Girls.
Nicola Coughlan, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell and Dylan Llewellyn all seem within the trailer for the ultimate season, and we will already inform it will be a cracker.
No phrase but on when the ultimate sequence is because of air — we’ll let after we know.
