A lacking man was discovered burnt to loss of life in a cemetery this morning.
Officers and fireplace fighters had been known as to reviews of a fireplace in a graveyard in Ushaw Moor, County Durham at round 6.20am this morning.
When they arrived on the graveyard they discovered the physique of a person who’s but to be formally recognized.
Durham Police imagine that they know who the person is, and are within the technique of contacted his household.
They say that there are not any suspicious circumstances surrounding his loss of life.
“Sadly a man was found deceased at the scene,” a spokesperson for the police mentioned.
“Enquiries are ongoing to confirm his identity but officers believe it to be that of a missing man and his family are in the process of being notified.
“It isn’t believed there are any suspicious circumstances and a file might be ready for the coroner.
“No graves have been affected.
“The cemetery might be closed for the rest of at the moment however is anticipated to reopen tomorrow and we want to thank the general public for his or her persistence.”
