Man with a cane is killed by teens in Houston: Texas cops


A person with a cane was shot and killed by a gaggle of six youngsters on Monday, May 9, in Houston, cops say.

A person was shot and killed close to a Walmart after he was harassed by a gaggle of six youngsters, in keeping with Houston police.

The capturing occurred on the north facet of Houston round 8:40 p.m. on Monday, May 9. Footage from the scene reveals crime scene tape on a sidewalk alongside Houston Community College’s Northline campus.

Police had been dispatched to the world for studies of a capturing, and first responders discovered the person with a single gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital, the place he died, police stated in a briefing streamed by KHOU.

The man, who was described by police as “elderly,” was strolling behind a Walmart when he was harassed by 4 teenage ladies and two teenage males, police stated. He swung his cane on the teenagers in an try “to get them back,” in keeping with police.

The 4 ladies tried to get the 2 males of their group to go away, and after they started strolling off, one of many males turned and fired one shot on the sufferer, police stated. The sufferer was shot within the chest.

The youngsters fled after the capturing, and their whereabouts are unknown. A motive for the capturing is unclear.

Police haven’t launched the id or age of the sufferer.
