Shaqiri has just one goal to his name so far this season with his new club currently 13th in the Ligue 1 table.

But that is only a part of what is turning Shaqiri’s Lyon career into a nightmare – with the club set for a pivotal month when the January transfer window opens.

Coutinho’s Liverpool return

Philippe Coutinho could follow Rafael Benitez in becoming a former Liverpool favourite to make the move to rivals Everton.

According to reports, Everton held talks with Coutinho’s agent about a return to Merseyside in the upcoming January transfer window.

And that could lead to him sealing a very controversial return to the city of Liverpool next month.
