Kathryn Thomas has said that she’s had a “whirlwind” two weeks since her daughter was born.
he RTÉ star and her husband Padraig McLoughlin welcomed their second baby girl last month, who they named Grace.
Taking to Instagram this week, the proud mum gave her followers an update on how she’s been getting on since her little bundle of joy arrived.
She said: “We have been blissfully unaware of what has been happening for the last two weeks since this little madam arrived. Honestly that’s all I do, that’s what I spend my days doing, just staring at her.
“It has been a whirlwind two weeks, just enjoying every minute of the love bubble and lots of snuggles and cuddles, but you just forget how tired you are.”
The 42-year-old also spoke about how her three-year-old daughter Ellie has been adjusting to a new addition in the family, saying: “She’s been brilliant, she’s just taken to the big sister role like a duck to water.
“A few tantrums don’t get me wrong, but overall it’s been great,” she added.
In October, Kathryn announced the birth of baby Grace with a sweet Instagram post and wrote: “Welcome to the world little angel. Our gorgeous girl, Grace Anne McLoughlin was born safely on Tues 26th @ 11.35am weighing 8lbs 3oz. Everyone is great. Baby sleeping. Mama knackered.
“A huge thank you to my amazing doc Hugh O’Connor and everyone @thecoombehospital.
“Blown away once again by the nurses and midwives. Nothing but incredible care, reassurance and even a bit of craic to keep you sane in those anxious moments… (Kelly take a bow) you are all wonderful.
“Also to Mary Wingfield and the entire team @merrion_fertility_clinic who were with us from the very beginning helping to make our dreams of family a reality.”
