SPOKANE, Wash.– A brand new retailer in North Spokane helps Ukrainian refugees within the space.
It’s known as “Ukraine’s Closet.”
Its founder, Zhanna Oberemok, began gathering donations weeks in the past. At first, she was utilizing a storage shed as a spot to function from.
Now, Ukraine’s Closet has moved and has its personal storefront at 9325 North Division Street.
Since it acquired began, greater than 20 households have gotten free garments and sneakers. Six households are totally furnished with donated furnishings.
Oberemok mentioned the Spokane group actually confirmed up for Ukrainians.
“This is extremely generous of them. It’s every day, I get goosebumps. Every time, when somebody brings stuff, this is for the Ukrainians, this is for the Ukrainians, it’s amazing because people have been so generous,” Oberemok mentioned.
