Ireland’s lotto jackpot will roll on for the 11th time with no punter getting their hands on the €19 million jackpot after the draw on Wednesday night.

However, it was good news for 27 lucky players who matched five numbers which will guarantee them a nice prize of €28,908.

The numbers for Wednesday night’s main draw were 6, 20, 29, 33, 37, 42 and the bonus 27.

National Lottery chiefs also announced that there was no winner of either of the two lotto plus draws.

It was today revealed the store that sold the lucky ticket which won the top prize in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

EuroMillions players in New Ross are being urged to check their tickets carefully as the winning docket was sold in the Wexford town.

The Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Friday, November 5, at the Gala Forecourt on the Waterford Road in New Ross.

The winning numbers in Tuesday’s draw were: 17, 25, 26, 33, 36 and the lucky stars were 01, 08.

Manager of the Gala store Harry Buckley was delighted to get the call from the National Lottery with the good news.

“It’s been quite the morning here in-store,” he said.

“We have a team of 20 in the shop and we’re all thrilled that one of our customers became the biggest winner in Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw.

“When the news gets out around the town, I’m sure that lots of our customers will be in to check their tickets. It would be great if someone local won the €500,000 prize – what a win to have in the lead up to Christmas!”
