Idaho State Police investigating fatal crash on US-12 in Idaho County

IDAHO COUNTY, Idaho — The Idaho State Police are investigating a crash on US-12 in Idaho County that resulted within the dying of a younger lady.

On Wednesday round 8 p.m., a sedan and truck tractor collided on eastbound US-12 close to the Jerry Johnson campground. A 24-year-old lady from The Dalles, Oregon was touring eastbound in a Chevrolet sedan, and a 43-year-old man from Greencreek, Idaho was driving westbound in a Peterbilt truck tractor when the crash occurred.

The man was hauling a trailer with a chunk of farm equipment on the truck. The explanation for the crash continues to be underneath investigation.
