Hollywood Failed Michelle Yeoh For Decades: ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’

Obviously Western audiences had been uncovered to Yeoh’s awesomeness in films like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies – AKA the one the place the villain is a media mogul beginning literal wars so he can scoop rival shops by, like, 20 minutes. Still, Yeoh was the spotlight of this dumb film with but much more spectacular bike scenes.

Yeoh’s character, Wai Lin, was such a stand-out for audiences that MGM thought of giving her a solo spin-off film – however finally they deserted that plan in favor of creating extra James Bond films that includes invisible vehicles and revolting puns. Hollywood actually dropped the ball on making Yeoh the following large motion star who can deal with a lightweight jog.
