Helen McEntee hit the gym with her baby boy after finishing her maternity leave.
The Justice Minister shared a rare photo of her son Michael Shane Hickey watching her from his bouncer.
She can be seen holding a dumbbell and smiling at her little number one fan.
She wrote: “Prior to coming back to work I joined @KW_Fitness_ & some fantastic mammies in @CrossFitMeath for Barbells & Babies.
“Sometimes you just need that extra bit of support & motivation. Couldn’t recommend Karolina enough!”
She also gave us a glimpse of how her parenting journey is going with a snap of herself and Michael who was all smiles on Sunday.
The Justice Minister was the first minister in Irish history to take maternity leave, as well as being the first minister to have a child while in office.
Ms McEntee named her son Michael Shane Hickey after her late father and former Fine Gael minister Shane McEntee.
She gave birth to her first child back in April, two weeks before his due date and just two days after her six-month maternity leave began.
Minister Heather Humphreys stood in for Ms McEntee during her six-month leave.
And now, Helen has returned to her Cabinet role and her husband, Paul Hickey is taking six months of parental leave.
