Girl, 6, savaged on face by pitbull as she played on UK beach before owner fled

A little bit woman was attacked by a pitbull canine whereas out having fun with the solar on the seashore together with her household.

The six-year-old wanted medical therapy after the horror assault which happened in Edinburgh, Scotland, on Friday.

She was strolling together with her household on Cramond Beach when the black canine knocked her over and attacked her face on Friday night.

She was strolling alongside the coast with three youngsters, all who’re associated to her, when catastrophe struck, they confirmed.

The canine pounced on the teen at round 5pm whereas she was taking part in and left her with bites to her face, arms and physique.

Its proprietor, described as white and round 60 years outdated, failed to assist the sufferer and as a substitute left the scene.

He is described as being of common construct and is believed to be 6ft tall, police stated.

At the time of the incident, he was sporting a crimson baseball cap, blue denims and a protracted black coat.

Police Scotland stated: “A six-year-old girl was walking on Cramond Beach with three older teenage family members when a black pitbull dog wearing a blue and white collar knocked her over and bit her to her face, body and arms.

“The man in command of the canine is described as white, about 60 years outdated, six ft tall, common construct, white beard, sporting a crimson baseball cap, a protracted black coat and blue denims. The man thereafter left the world with the canine.

“The girl required medical attention in relation to her injuries.

“Anyone who recognises the outline of this man is urged to name 101 quoting reference 2853 of 18 March 2022.”

Owning or breeding pitbulls was banned in the UK by the Dangerous Dogs Act of 1991.

The government decided to ban the breed in response to a slew of incidents involving vicious, often unprovoked attacks on humans.

It followed 15 fatal dog attacks in England and Wales between 1981 and 1991.
