Dublin Wives star Jo Jordan pays heart-breaking tribute to ‘beautiful’ mum following her death

Dublin Wives star Jo Jordan has paid paid a heartbreaking tribute to her beloved mum Linda Brogan who sadly passed away this morning.

In a tribute posted on her official Facebook page this evening, former TV3 star Jo wrote: “At 6am we said goodbye to my amazing mom she’s out of pain and with my Daddy now.

“Words cannot say how I am feeling I just want to thank all the Ballymun and Poppintree community for always being so good to her. Things just can’t get anymore painful.”

Jo’s mum Linda was raised in London before coming to Dublin with Jo’s father.

Jo described her mum Linda as “a great woman, the mammy of Ballymun” who was loved by everyone she met.

People flocked to social media to offer their condolences.

One wrote: “Very sad news, may she RIP.”

Another wrote: “A beautiful lady Linda, heart goes out to you and your family Jo.”

A third wrote: “A truly lovely lady, RIP.”

Jo Jordan burst onto Irish tellys in 2012 when she appeared on the hit TV3 reality show Dublin Wives which followed the lives of five glamourous housewives living in the city; Danielle Meagher, Jo Jordan, Lisa Murphy, Roz Flanagan and Virginia Macari.

The hit show ran for two seasons and is beloved by Irish fans.
