As storms Dudley and Eunice hit our shores this week, we decided to take a look back at previous storms that have battered the Irish coastline.
It’s safe to say that we’ve had our fair share of stormy conditions down through the years with certain storms leaving a lasting impression in our collective memory, like Storm Emma who hit our shores back in 2018 with a bout of snow for good measure.
Have a look at the selection of photos captured of stormy conditions in Dublin from scenes on O’Connell Bridge during rain from Hurricane Charley back in 1986 to waves caused by Storm Emma crashing against Dun Laoghaire pier in more recent times in 2018.
