6 feel good shows to binge in isolation

Have you landed in isolation? Listen, it has happened to so many people. It’s a rubbish buzz but we’re here to help.

If you’re stuck in a room wondering what to watch, the time will likely come when you want something that is easy to follow, makes you giggle and ultimately puts a little smile on your face during a rough time.

Here are six feel good TV shows to binge while in isolation.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

This one is a hot topic at the moment as the show’s characters find themselves in Dublin in the latest episodes.

Starring legend Danny DiVito and others such as Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney, there is a whopping 15 seasons of this, meaning it will probably take you from the start of your isolation right until the end.

The show follows five friends who could probably do with a lot more brain power while trying to run an Irish pub in Philadelphia.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Available on Netflix, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is bonkers from the get-go. The show follows Kimmy, who is held captive by a crazy preacher for 15 years in an underground bunker.

Upon gaining freedom, the clueless redhead moves to NYC and her childlike naivety is both hilarious and heartwarming.

Only Murders in the Building

Although this is a murder mystery, it’s more so a comedy, with easy giggles and laughable characters finding themselves in ridiculous situations.

Starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short, three people who live in the same building in New York start a true crime podcast series after one of the other residents is mysteriously found dead in his apartment.

Only Murders in the Building can be streamed on Disney+.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend

Another cracking show from Netflix, Crazy Ex Girlfriend is a musical comedy series about a woman who is still in love with a boy from her childhood, so much so that she quits her job and moves across the country in the hopes of starting a relationship with him.

Expect second hand embarrassment and touching moments, as well as some great musical performances from the cast along the way.

Good Girls

What happens when three suburban mothers become fed up of not getting the respect they deserve? Hilarity, sisterly bonding and a life of crime, apparently.

Upon deciding to take the power back, the three women find themselves banding together and holding up a grocery store.

Good Girls is available on Netflix.

Kim’s Convenience

This Netflix sitcom follows a stubborn middle-aged man who runs a convenient store. It seems like a simple premise, but watching him trying to control his somewhat chaotic family often ends in hilarity.
